CLIVAR's Drought Working Group (DWG) Experiments. Runs performed by the CCSM Climate Variability Working Group with NCAR's CAM3.5 model at T85 resolution: Atmospheric model: CAM3.5. Land-surface model: CLM3.5. Ensemble # 1 for all Runs. 1st year of spin-up is not included. SST forcing provided by the DWG: Fixed anomalous SST patterns superposed on monthly climatological SST. Land-surface variables are in the sub-directory /land, inside each sub-directory. Directories contain the following runs: 1)Directory Cont: CAM3.5 50-yr Control Experiment with monthly climatological SSTs. Climatological SSTs were calculated for the 1902-1999 period. * * * 2)Directory LTw: CAM3.5 50-yr Linear Trend Experiment in its WARM phase. FORCING: global positive linear trend anomalies superposed on monthly climatological SSTs. * * * 3)Directory PcAc: CAM3.5 50-yr Pacific in its COLD phase and Atlantic in its COLD phase. FORCING: negative Pacific SST anomalies and negative Atlantic SST anomalies superposed on monthly climatological SSTs; climatological conditions remain in the rest of the global domain. * * * 4)Directory PcAn: CAM3.5 50-yr Pacific Experiment in its COLD phase. FORCING: negative Pacific SST anomalies superposed on monthly climatological SSTs; climatological conditions remain in the rest of the global domain. * * * 5)Directory PcAw: CAM3.5 50-yr Pacific in its COLD phase and Atlantic in its WARM phase. FORCING: negative Pacific SST anomalies and positive Atlantic SST anomalies superposed on monthly climatological SSTs; climatological conditions remain in the rest of the global domain. * * * 6)Directory PnAc: CAM3.5 50-yr Atlantic Experiment in its COLD phase. FORCING: negative Atlantic SST anomalies superposed on monthly climatological SSTs; climatological conditions remain in the rest of the global domain. * * * 7)Directory PnAw: CAM3.5 50-yr Atlantic Experiment in its WARM phase.
